Omkar Gupta is a celebrity makeup artist and Co-Founder of Colours Makeover Studio and Academy, Pune. Since its inception in 2014, the academy has trained scores of successful makeup artists while catering to film and TV celebrities. From film studios to fashion ramps, Colours Makeover has made its mark with its expertise and creativity. However, it is their wedding makeup that has become their true signature.

Speaking about his journey, Gupta says, “I came to Mumbai with lots of expectations and dreams in my eyes. I started my career in 2012 as a freelance make-up artist. I then teamed up with Vaibhav Chaphekar, my trainer and business partner, and established our first academy in Mumbai under the brand name Colours Makeover in 2014. We opened a new branch in Pune in the year 2016. I have always believed in hard work and have been grateful for all the opportunities, which I have got in my life. It is with the blessings of my parents and God and the support of my mentor and friends that I have achieved so much today.

It has been an amazing and fantabulous experience working with film and TV celebrities. I have also had a great experience of working with high fashion models, high society brides and bridegrooms. We have trained many students who are now working professionally as makeup artists and hairstylists.”
