THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP BY NISHITA MANTRY
Why I became a Business Coach for Women? In India, women are financially dependent on either the father, brother, husband or son. For this reason a lot of women in India compromise and sacrifice way too much. Most of the women have lost their self-worth and self identity, they have low self-esteem and they don’t value their own strengths. So I am on a mission to help women attain financial independence and have a taste of their own sweet money. Let me tell you where it all began. In 2009, I was a professor with many business schools & I was an entrepreneur running an ad agency in Mumbai serving a lot of start-ups with marketing, branding and sales strategies. I used to get a lot of women start-ups who would need marketing solutions for their business and as an advertising agency the kind of budgets we would offer them; they would just run away.
They would always tell me that we would like to take baby steps, make small investments that generate sales and with the revenue we generate we would like to further invest in business. I could see this coming from a lot of women and I really wanted to do something about it. So I decided to educate women on how to start a business, how to scale their business, how to create your marketing funnel & how to bring in sales consistently. I started running workshops on the weekend to help women in making a business plan and finding creative ways to scale the business on a shoestring budget. This got me a lot of recognition and I was invited to the start up India initiative by Narendra Modi to Delhi in 2016. That’s where I saw a rise in women start-ups and the biggest struggle of not getting a direction to get started in business. That’s when I realise that women need a lot of hand holding, confidence, clarity & direction. With this view in mind I launched a three-month one on one coaching program called Mini MBA for start-ups. In this program, I help him and set up goals and give them a roadmap to achieve these targeted goals in a span of three months.
This also works as a business management program for women who don’t have a formal education in management. So if you think your business is struggling or you are feeling directionless book a 60 minute strategy call with me and let’s explore how you can take your business to the next level and how a business coach can help you grow with momentum.
