VOICE OF AMIT GUPTA FOR ‘TERI DEEWANI 2’ FEATURING MAHAK CHAUDHURY ARE BACK TO CREATE MAGIC

Recently released music video ‘Teri Deewani’ was a super success. The song portraying the dilemma of a soldier to choose between his motherland and his family and the loved ones, touched the chord of innumerable people. The song was not only written by Mahak Chaudhary but she also acted as lead in the music video with another lead actor Dev Sharma. After the music video got released, it soon became a rage among masses. People in large numbers heard and watched the music video making it an instant hit. The idea was always to make it in two parts and continue with the story with another melodious track with another plot. It will be interesting to see whether the couple portrayed in the music video will get reunited or not.

Like the prequel, the sequel of the music video has also been shot by director Santosh Parab in the untapped locations of Bhopal. The lyrics of ‘Teri Deewani 2’ has been beautifully penned by Raghvan Sampurna and music has been scored by Biplaab Dutta. Like the previous song, this song too has been beautifully rendered by singer Amit Gupta and Piyu Udasi. The makers of ‘Teri Deewani 2’ are expecting that the emotional plot of the new music video is once again going to win the hearts of the people. ‘Teri Deewani’ song was a sad and a heartbreaking song, whereas ‘Teri Deewani 2’ is a more romantic kind of a song which takes the story forward from the previous music video.

Talking about the song Mahak Chaudhary said, “We were always confident that ‘Teri Deewani’ would instantly have a connect with people. We planned the song in such a way that we will show one aspect of the soldier’s dilemma in the first song and his story will be romatically concluded in the sequel of the music video. Belonging to the small town of Mathura from Uttar Pradesh, the journey of actor Mahak Chaudhary has been a struggling one. Few years back when Mahak Chaudhary came to Mumbai to fulfill her dream of becoming an actor, she did small-small roles in order to keep herself going. Soon she got meaty parts in TV shows like ‘Savdhaan India’ and ‘Crime Petrol’ where she proved her acting prowess. Mahak Chaudhary believes in never giving up on her dreams and now she is eyeing to do big Bollywood projects.
