Nayanaah : Unveiling the Enchanting Persona in our July Issue

Q1 :- What initially inspired you to pursue a career in acting, and how did your journey in the entertainment industry begin?

Ans :- Working in the entertainment industry is typically different from many professions because of the varied hours. My interest in this genre started during my college days, doing theatre and modeling.

Q2 :- Can you share some memorable experiences or challenges you faced while honing your acting skills?

Ans :- I realized the difference between colloquial language and other forms of communication. I followed the acting process, vocal exercises, and observed the difference between normal acting and methodical approaches.

Q3 :- As an actress, you’ve taken on various roles across different genres. Is there a particular genre or type of character that you find most enjoyable to portray, and why?

Ans :- Well, my genre of acting is realistic. I can emote better in those roles, but I totally enjoyed playing the character in “Baiko kamal mehuni dhamaal.”

Q4 :- The entertainment industry can be highly competitive. How do you maintain your passion for acting and stay motivated in such a demanding environment?

Ans :- I know there’s stiff competition in this industry. I try to keep myself self-motivated, and I always strive to be in the limelight rather than being one among the crowd.

Q5 :- Could you describe your process of preparing for a new role? How do you approach understanding and connecting with the characters you play?

Ans :- Nayannah is different from the characters I portray. I study and try to imbibe everything about the character—the body language, mannerisms, dialogue delivery, voice modulation, and many more.

Q6 :- Many people look up to you as a role model. What advice would you give to aspiring actors who are just starting their journey in the industry?

Ans :- It’s good to have and follow your role models. I, too, was an aspiring artist, and I improved by learning from my own mistakes and experiences. The key to success is determination and dedication.

Q7 :- Throughout your career, you’ve had the opportunity to work with talented directors and actors. Is there a particular collaboration that stands out to you as a significant learning experience?

Ans :- Yes, truly, I had the opportunity to work with multiple directors—some were technical, and some were actors’ directors. Actors’ directors help the artists showcase their talent, and they know how to get the best out of him/her. For instance, Director Mr. Samit Kakkad gives hints to help you emote.

Q8 :- Being in the public eye can come with its share of challenges. How do you handle criticism or negative feedback, and what strategies do you use to maintain a positive mindset?

Ans :- Certainly, there are no roses without thorns. Healthy criticism is always welcome, and I take it with a pinch of salt. Moreover, yoga and meditation help me keep my calm.

Q9 :- Beyond acting, you are also involved in philanthropy and various causes. Can you tell us about the charitable work that is close to your heart and why it’s essential for you to give back

Ans :- I started attaching myself to charity and many child welfare organizations since my college days. As I matured, I preferred not to publicize my philanthropic activities.

Q10 :- Social media has become a significant aspect of modern celebrity life. How do you balance your personal life with your online presence, and how do you navigate the positives and negatives of social media?

Ans :- I totally agree that the name and fame of an artist are in the hands of social media. Whether it is personal or professional life, I have my priorities. Moreover, my team handles the positives and negatives of social media. Thank you
