Q1 : What has been the most transformative lesson you learned through this journey to becoming Miss University?
Ans : The lesson I learned through this incredible journey is that hardwork and patience pay off even in the most unexpected situations. It is also important to believe in yourself and maintain a positive outlook. Coupled with hardwork, mindset plays an important role in success.

Q2 : How do you plan to use your platform to inspire and uplift other students on campus?
Ans: In order to inspire and uplift other students on campus, I plan to share my journey using platforms such as social media and on-campus workshops. Spreading awareness about the opportunities that are available is important. Moreover, offering guidance and clarity regarding the process ensures that events like this don’t seem daunting and unreachable but practical and possible.

Q3. What advice would you give to young women aspiring to participate in similar pageants or competitions?
Ans : For young ladies who aspire to join this field, it is important to have a definite idea of what their goals are. Clarity and determination are the pillars that support young models in their endeavors. Through my experience, I have found that there are multiple opportunities for finalists of pageants, ranging from acting to modeling. With the plethora of options comes indecisiveness which can be avoided by knowing one’s strengths, interests and passion.

Q4. How do you intend to balance the responsibilities of this title with your academic and personal goals?
Ans : Effective time management and some creativity in the handling of tasks has been helpful in managing responsibilities from the title as well as academics. For students, it is important to plan ahead for exams and assignments, breaking down tasks into steps. For personal goals, be it fitness or career, prioritizing and scheduling activities can help in maintaining consistency. It is crucial to remain flexible and spontaneous with one’s schedule, so as to avoid stress and frustration. I’ve found that writing down tasks helps me keep track of them and plan my day in advance.

Q5. What message do you hope to leave behind as Miss University that will resonate with future contestants and students?
Ans: The message that I hope to leave behind for future contestants of Miss University as well as students is that the journey matters more than the destination. Often times we wait to feel ready and confident to pursue our dreams. It is important to realize that every initiative we take ends in either success or experience, so it is a win- win situation. Taking a beat, analyzing our performance and implementing the lessons we’ve learnt is the way to ensure that experience pays off. It might be difficult to feel motivated and cheerful all the time, but enjoying the process and making friends along the way surely helps.
